History: TransBorder Art TV started with three episodes filmed at NYC’s Anthology Film Archives in 2014, where we presented a panel discussion about Utopias and Realities hosted by a diverse group of NYC-based artists and curators.
TransBorder Art provides the audience with free, relevant and thought-provoking TV content relative to the contemporary world from an artist's point of view, aired on NYC community public access televisions five times a week. Each 28 minute-long episode raises fundamental questions around existing cultural discourses regarding gender, identity, politics, immigration, or technology. Ultimately, TransBorder Art’s mission is to elicit an open dialogue between a diverse group of artists and the larger community.
